Fixed the terminal freezing after you leave the app and come back.
After closing the Shell Pilot window (the red button or ⌘⇧W) and reopening it from the Dock, the session that had been on screen stopped responding. Typing did nothing visible, and the only way out was to close that session in the sidebar and open a new one. Other sessions were unaffected.
Input was never broken. The shell received every keystroke and ran every command; the screen simply stopped redrawing. With the Metal renderer on, typing echo X > file into a frozen session created the file while the window still showed the old prompt.
When a window closes, macOS’s Metal view (MTKView) permanently cancels the mechanism that turns a redraw request into a frame. Closing the window does not end your sessions: Shell Pilot keeps every terminal alive and moves it into the new window when you reopen from the Dock. The terminal kept using its old Metal view, whose redraw mechanism was already dead, so every redraw request went nowhere. A new session worked because it got a new Metal view.
Debug and signed Release builds, Metal renderer: close the window, switch to another app, reopen from the Dock. Earlier output stays on screen, new commands draw immediately, and full-screen programs such as less keep redrawing. Switching apps with the window left open was already safe and still is.
408 tests pass across 31 suites, including seven new window-close and reopen tests.
